Silvermines travelled to Rearcross last Saturday morning for an entertaining league encounter. Both sides were evenly matched from the start with great contests all over the pitch. It was the visitors who were first to be rewarded from a great strike which found the Rearcross net. This setback did not deter the Rearcross team and both side were level in the 12 minute through a Tristan Deegan strike from close range. Another great strike from Tristan Deegan minutes later saw Rearcross take the advantage but Silvermines made it level again just before the break. The second half saw a different contest as Silvermines began to dominate the play. Rearcross did all they could to thwart the Silvermines attack however goals came aplenty for the visitors who ran out eventual winners.
